Marlen Montes, FNP-C

Marlen Montes, FNP-C, is an advanced practice registered nurse with a post-graduate certificate as a family nurse practitioner. She has over 17 years of health care experience. NP Montes began her career in the emergency department, where she gained experience making critical decisions and empathetically guiding patients through the treatment process.

Following her time in the emergency department, NP Montes further educated herself in vascular medicine, exploring diagnostic, medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures. During the past seven years, she has gained experience in peripheral vascular care in San Antonio’s Medical Center, Stone Oak, Hondo and Uvalde.

In addition to her vast knowledge of acute and chronic vascular conditions, NP Montes is a self-proficient problem-solver. She is a proud first-gen college graduate, an appreciative mother, a grateful daughter, a loving wife and a dedicated colleague.
