About the Provider
Dr. Alfred Laborde graduated from Central Catholic High School and St. Mary’s University. Afterward, he attended medical school at Texas Tech University and served as a surgical resident at Chicago Medical School, where he also worked as a clinical instructor of surgery.
Following a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Dr. Laborde joined a private practice in 1992 as a vascular surgeon and pursued his interest in outpatient vein treatment.
Dr. Laborde is board certified in general vascular surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also an active member of Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS), the Texas Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, the Society for Vascular Surgery and the Texas Medical Association.
